On the Air with Recipes For Life |
This past week has been a busy one for me. I taped THREE
radio shows in the last week. The reason for this special edition of the
newsletter is because one of the shows is airing TODAY, and the podcast will
only be available for free for 48 hours. The other two air this
Saturday.
The Thanksgiving Special (available internationally) is a
panel discussion about the Raw Living Foods Lifestyle with:
- Rhio (author, Hooked On Raw)
- Nomi Shannon (Author, The Raw Gourmet)
- Cherie Soria (Living Light Culinary Arts Institute)
- Jim Carey (chiDiet.com)
- Karen Knowler (formerly of The Fresh Network, UK, and
now Living Foods Coach)
- David and Katrina Rainoshek (Juice Feasting,
Global Juice Feast 2008)
Hosted by Dorit on Recipes For Life. Here is the
direct link to the show:
http://www.iamhealthyradio.com/dorit_serenity_spaces.html.
Click on "Listen to the Show." 90 minutes.
Airs on Thursday and Friday November 22 and 23,
2007. Starts at 4 PM Pacific/7 PM Eastern Standard Time on Thursday.
On the Air with Fight the Good Fight |
If you're in the Western Tennessee area this Saturday
(11/24) I'll be on Kerry Pharr's Fight the Good Fight radio program
at 11:30 am, on Supertalk 97.7. If you don't catch the broadcast, it's
already available as a podcast at
http://www.live365.com/stations/goodfightradio_oda?site=goodfightradio_oda
(30 minutes. See Health/Healing Dr. Jim Carey).
For some background, Kerry's website is

On the Air with Real Health |
In addition to this week's shows with Dorit and Kerry,
I've been doing a weekly broadcast on Saturday mornings with Dr. Steve
Monkiewicz in Bakersfield, California. He has a number of interesting guests
each week, and I'm one of his "regulars." Broadcasts are available
as podcasts at
http://web.mac.com/drsteve720.
Each show is 30 minutes.
A quote from Dr. Steve:
- "We are facing a Health Care crisis. That is
because our system is a Disease Maintenance System, not one focused on
getting you well and keeping you well. If you are looking for truthful,
honest and holistic answers... you have found the right place!" -

Welcome to the (again) newly-updated version of chi
Living Foods News. A number of readers had issues with last week's issue,
so I'm trying again.
In this column is the newsletter. On the left is a list
of the articles we've published in the last 5 years, organized by category.
When you click on them, they'll open your browser and take you to the pages.
The color and theme changes make the newsletter match
our websites (chiDiet.com and
chiDiet.net). So, what do you think? Like it?
Love it? Hate it?

Raw Living Foods Home Study Program |
"To eat is a necessity, but to eat intelligently is
an art." - La Rochefoucauld
This month marks the fourth anniversary of the Home Study
Program, developed from the teachings of Dr. Ann Wigmore at Creative Health
Institute. I put this program together because, as Director of Creative Health,
I talked to many, many people who either didn't have the time, or the money, to
attend the two-week hands-on program in Michigan. I was going over the books
this morning, and realized that we've shipped 25,000 videos in the last four
years! That truly amazed me. I knew that there was a demand for this
training, but I had no idea it would be so popular.
Twenty percent of our orders have been International
shipments. We've shipped to every continent and dozens of countries; in order
of per-capita popularity: New Zealand, Australia, Iceland, Canada, England and
Japan. We've also given away many complete sets of the program, including DVD
players and television sets, all over Africa.
That sure is a lot of videos. I hope that they're being
well-shared, and being viewed often. Being a "raw fooder" requires
more than just not eating meat. I hear from many people that have thrown their
bodies out of balance by eating too much fruit, or nuts, or other raw
foods.
Furthermore, the Living Foods Lifestyle includes other
components besides just raw foods. There is the "living" aspect of
our foods, as well as internal cleansing, colon health, lymphatic system
health, proper exercise, wheatgrass juice, energy soup, proper food combining,
dehydrating, nutritional and dietary balance (lots of greens), and yummy food
prep. All of this we teach at Creative Health Institute, and in the Home
Study Program.
Surrounded, as we are, with increasing toxicity in our
food and environment, eating a pure and healthy diet is more important than
ever. More and more people are starting to see that, and I believe that's why
the Raw and Living Foods Movement is growing so fast.
There's a lot more to being a raw fooder than eating
fruits and veggies. Dietary variety, purity, balance, sprouting and personal
detoxification are important, too. Now you can learn about the Raw Living Foods
Lifestyle in the comfort and convenience of your own home. Learn how to
detoxify your body, what to eat, why to eat it, and how
to prepare yummy raw food meals that leave you feeling full and satisfied.
The home study version of the Dr. Ann Wigmore Raw Living Foods Lifestyle
includes over 50 hours of video instruction, and a comprehensive manual.

The Raw Living Foods Lifestyle has been taught by a
series of visionaries in the past century. Dr. Ann Wigmore used it to
cure herself of colon cancer in the 1950's, and then taught it for decades at
Hippocrates Institute in Boston and Creative Health Institute in
Michigan, where she taught others to heal themselves naturally.
If you can't get into a residential program, then the
home study program is for you. There's so much material in the home study
program - 15 lessons, 30+ videos, 350+ page handbook - that you'd have to spend
at least a month at a place like Creative Health to learn as much.
The First Lesson is Free - Examine the
program in your home for 30 days. Even if you don't elect to continue your
subscription, the first lesson is still yours to keep.
Special Bonus: 1 Hour of Personal Raw Coaching: 30
minutes of free coaching and consultation (by telephone) with Hiawatha Cromer,
"The Wise Woman of Raw Foods," and another 30 minutes with Mary
Moore, former Program Director of Creative Health Institute.
