arrow  The Legacy of Dr. Ann Wigmore

The legacy that Dr. Ann Wigmore left to the world was wellness achieved by the simplest of all Physical, Mental, Emotional and Spiritual lifestyles. This is hard for man because, unlike the animals, we are creative, the benefit of which is life enhancement - when we do it right - but the created world of hurt when we do it wrong. Sad to say that we can create counter-productively when we are care-less, neglectful or exploitative.

Now it is each person's duty to decide whether or not they will live beneficially or destructively, contributory or depleting to the general welfare.

A measure of suffering in our lives helps us to realize first-hand what the reality of suffering is in the whole human experience. Indeed, knowing that peace, joy, harmony and love can exist, and by our hand, give us a way to see our positive contribution to the whole. Now we give full consideration to this when, and if, we have suffered enough.

My life has now extended to 80-years-old and my circumstance conducive to wellness and productive activity inspires me to write and speak out as Dr. Ann did in her diligence in her "mission." That mission was to share the simple truth of an Organic Lifestyle, to choose Living Foods to sustain us biologically and Faith in God and Nature to be in "The Way, the Truth and the Life."

Those who come to Creative Health Institute get the Pure Dr. Ann direction for wellness, and the wonder is that - in just two weeks - you can feel the difference that, if carried on, is the correction for, and of, all degenerative disease, and the basis of life in wellness, as the Creator intended.

Believe, my friend, that there is the way to live in wellness, and that it is the way life was intended to be.

Indeed, giving up meat, milk, cheese, salt, sugar and alcohol, and all tendency to excess and addictions, is the front-line action expected of educated individuals. The problem created by most doctors and the pharmaceutical companies is that they work to maintain their power and wealth in the exploitation of dis-ease.

Indeed, we are so vulnerable when in upset and pain that it puts us at the mercy of those we select to help or treat us, and God knows we need help when we break a leg or our condition makes us weak or faint. Often we do not have faith in the body's natural means of rebalancing so we rush out for a quick remedy.

Indeed, faith in the reality that "this too shall pass" can create patience to let the immune system correct the body without the aspirin, plus, plus, plus. Those that have dealt with crisis disease and experienced natural correction and the use of simple remedies like abstaining from dietary intake and even simple increased pure water intake, and an enema when needed, corrects many disorders.

I share my recovery story at Creative Health Institute, that Dr. Ann encouraged me to start after my complete change of lifestyle was prompted by her book, Why Suffer?

Indeed, it is nothing short of a miracle that stopping habitual gluttony and fasting on Wheat Grass Juice and high fluid intake turned my body chemistry around and slowly gave me back my health.

In the thirty years of carrying on the work at Creative Health Institute, which has, from the beginning, adhered to the simple detoxification and rejuvenation program, I have seen every form of degenerative disease reversed for those who really do the program.

The saying: "Yard by yard, it is hard, while inch by inch is a cinch," is a good place to end this with praise of Dr. Ann Wigmore, a saint of wellness.

arrow  U.S. Factory Farms - So Bad They're A Tourist Attraction

Consumer Group Brings European Farmers to United States Dairies

Washington, D.C. - Food & Water Watch welcomed farmers from France, Spain, and Germany this week for a first hand look at the environmental and public health consequences of factory farm dairies in three states - Michigan, Oregon and Washington.

"U.S. factory dairy farms are so bad they're a tourist attraction," said Wenonah Hauter, Food & Water Watch Executive Director. "European farmers touring U.S. factory dairies and communities will take home a snapshot of what European agriculture could become if farmers and their governments aren't careful."

Factory farms have been linked to health problems for farm workers and neighbors, and contaminated water and air in surrounding communities. The stench alone can ruin rural communities, as residents rush to shut their windows and bring their children indoors when the wind shifts. These communities have been fighting lonely, uphill battles against operators that take advantage of lax enforcement of zoning and environmental laws.

"In a 16 mile corridor we have dairy operations dumping five times the amount of raw sewage as that produced by the entire population of Seattle onto our fields," said Helen Reddout, president of Community Association for Restoration of the Environment in Yakima County, Washington. "Contaminated waste on our fields is dangerous as we can see in the California spinach case."

"The U.S. EPA and state agencies turn a blind eye to the air and water pollution caused by giant dairies and other factory farms," explained Hauter. "Rural communities and U.S. consumers deserve better."

"It's sad that when there's so much in Oregon agriculture that is right, we become known to the international community for operations like the Threemile Canyon Farm complex, that don't represent the agriculture we value in our state," said Kendra Kimbirauskas, a regional consultant with the GRACE Factory Farm Project.

Factory farming can also affect the health of consumers far from the dairy. According to the American Public Health Association (APHA), the overuse of antibiotics for livestock is creating antibiotic-resistant bacteria that threatens human health. An estimated 70% of antibiotics used in the United States are for promoting growth and preventing disease in food animals.

"We wanted to see U.S. factory dairies because big agriculture interests plans to export the factory farm model to Europe and replace our traditional family dairies," said Jean Cabaret, a French dairy farmer and member of the French farmers union Confederation Paysanne. "Europeans want sustainable, chemical free, and humanely raised dairy and meat products - not factory farm pollution."

Industrial agriculture companies have dramatically expanded their operations in parts of Europe in recent years, transforming the landscape from one of numerous small family farms to one of giant animal confinement facilities. The European Union is considering reforms to its Common Agricultural Policy for dairy that could potentially drive European dairy farmers out of business and towards a model similar to the U.S system. Food & Water Watch supports efforts to encourage local food production through numerous sustainable family farms instead of an industrialized model that relies on factory farms.

"Showing just how bad it is in Lenawee and Hillsdale Counties is one way to advocate for stronger laws here as well as to make sure Europeans don't weaken their laws to allow these horrible facilities to move into their communities," said Lynn Henning, Sierra Club CAFO Water Sentinel and a leader of the Environmentally Concerned Citizens of South Central Michigan.

arrow  The Menacing Mathematics of Multiple Medications

There's something scary about drugs that concerns a growing number of physicians and should wobble the knees of every patient on the planet. It's obvious to any mathematician but somehow has escaped the general scrutiny of the health industry.

It has to do with combining meds.

Ever since I can remember I have been fed the perception that drugs are governmentally evaluated and thus are safe if taken under the guidance of competent physicians. However, even if we accept the presumed safety for the ingestion of one drug, we must ask ourselves how might that safety change if we take multiple drugs?

For safety assurances, proper testing should be done for every drug combination we are advised to take. If we take Prozac and Tylenol, for example, we should be presented with all the possible benefits and consequences before allowing these two foreign substances to mix with the chemicals our bodies already create. Same thing goes for combining Paxil with Viagra or Interferon with Lipitor.

The list of possible problems here is monstrously long because there are a b'zillion drugs and mega b'zillions of combinations. Nonetheless, I've never seen or heard of any studies that test any of these combinations... have you?

"The gathering of people is what most frightens oppressive government. Wherever freedom reigns in the world, there is open communication amongst people. When we gather, we gain power. When we fail to gather, we only fail ourselves. Therefore, let us not forsake the gathering of ourselves together. It is as vital now as it has ever been." - Jay North

arrow  Eat Fewer Calories Than You Burn

(ABC News) Exercise more, eat less.

It sounds so easy. Both of those formulas are foolproof. Anyone who follows them will lose weight, baring some kind of medical problem. Then why is it so hard to keep that old waistline where it's supposed to be?

Because eating, many scientists contend, isn't just about eating. In fact, according to researchers at the University of Toronto, our biological needs have little to do with how much we eat. They've even come up with a name for it.

"Eating occurs within what we have termed a zone of biological indifference, in which the individual is neither genuinely hungry nor genuinely sated," says psychology professor Peter Herman. Environmental cues, not biological mechanisms, are a big part of how much and what we eat: http://abcnews.go.com/Technology/DyeHard/story?id=2671027&page=1&technology=true.

arrow  Raw Living Foods Home Study Program

"To eat is a necessity, but to eat intelligently is an art." - La Rochefoucauld

The Home Study Program was developed from the teachings of Dr. Ann Wigmore at Creative Health Institute. I put this program together because, as Director of Creative Health, I talked to many, many people who either didn't have the time, or the money, to attend the two-week hands-on program in Michigan. I was going over the books this morning, and realized that we've shipped 20,000 videos in the last three years! That truly amazed me. I knew that there was a demand for this training, but I had no idea it would be so popular.

The Living Foods Lifestyle includes other components besides just raw foods. There is the "living" aspect of our foods, as well as internal cleansing, colon health, lymphatic system health, proper exercise, wheatgrass juice, energy soup, proper food combining, dehydrating, nutritional and dietary balance (lots of greens), and yummy food prep. All of this we teach at Creative Health Institute, and in the Home Study Program.

Surrounded, as we are, with increasing toxicity in our food and environment, eating a pure and healthy diet is more important than ever. More and more people are starting to see that, and I believe that's why the Raw and Living Foods Movement is growing so fast.

There's a lot more to being a raw fooder than eating fruits and veggies. Dietary variety, purity, balance, sprouting and personal detoxification are important, too. Now you can learn about the Raw Living Foods Lifestyle in the comfort and convenience of your own home. Learn how to detoxify your body, what to eat, why to eat it, and how to prepare yummy raw food meals that leave you feeling full and satisfied. The home study version of the Dr. Ann Wigmore Raw Living Foods Lifestyle includes over 50 hours of video instruction, and a comprehensive manual.

 Complete Lifestyle Education Package

The Raw Living Foods Lifestyle has been taught by a series of visionaries in the past century. Dr. Ann Wigmore used it to cure herself of colon cancer in the 1950's, and then taught it for decades at Hippocrates Institute in Boston and Creative Health Institute in Michigan, where she taught others to heal themselves naturally.

If you can't get into a residential program, then the home study program is for you. There's so much material in the home study program - 15 lessons, 30+ videos, 350+ page handbook - that you'd have to spend at least a month at a place like Creative Health to learn as much.

The First Lesson is Free - Examine the program in your home for 30 days. Even if you don't elect to continue your subscription, the first lesson is still yours to keep.

SPECIAL BONUS

When you order the complete raw living foods lifestyle Home Study Program this week we'll also include over $100 worth of bonus materials:
