Marketing Tips

The neatest thing about Affiliate Marketing is that you can earn a lot of money without having to create, manufacture, package, ship, insure, track and deal with returned products (I do that for you).

Now, all you need to be an affiliate is a passion to share the Home Study Program, and a few friends to tell about it. But if you want to take things farther, I’ve assembled a series of tutorials and marketing ideas and suggestions for you.

The challenge is building traffic to your website, building a relationship with your visitors, and building value into the relationship. I could spend the rest of the day typing, sharing my experiences with you.

But who wants to read so much? We learn better from video (that’s why the Home Study Program has over 50 hours of video and 10 hours of books on CD). I found a good video training series that teaches all of that information, and bought the reseller rights so I can share them with you for free:

Lesson 1 – What is Web 2.0?

Lesson 2 – Succeeding with Web 2.0

Lesson 3 – Social Networking Overview

Lesson 4 – Social Bookmarking Overview

Lesson 5 – Squidoo, Part 1

Lesson 6 – Squidoo, Part 2

Lesson 7 – Twitter

Lesson 8 – Facebook

Lesson 9 – Hub Pages

Lesson 10 – Onlywire

Lesson 11 – Digg

Lesson 12 – Stumbleupon

Lesson 13 – Orkut

Lesson 14 – WordPress

Lesson 15 – Weebly

Lesson 16 – MySpace

Tracking Where Your Traffic Comes From

Another marketing course that I bought to share with you. This one shows you how to set up a free account with Google Analytics to track your web traffic. Start by going to adwords.google.com and opening a free account, then come back here for the training videos.

Lesson 1 – Get your tracking code

Lesson 2 – Inserting the code

Free Marketing eBooks

I bought the reseller rights to these ebooks so that I could share them with you. A broad overview of the basics, including how and where to set up a website, products, philosophies, etc..

The Internet Marketing Roadmap For Newbies

More to Come

Check back every few weeks. As I find valuable new marketing ideas and material I’ll post it here on the JV Blog.

One last tip – don’t be overwhelmed, don’t be daunted by so much information and so many ideas. Choose just one thing that appeals to you and focus on that. Then come back here, chose a second goal, and pursue that one. By the end of three months you’ll be amazed at how much you’ve accomplished!

Thanks, and Great Success to you!
