Your 7 Steps to Health & Happiness
Last time we discussed homeostasis, getting started, and understanding your motivations to change.
Step 2 – Assess Your Current Health
OK, pull out that journal in which you wrote your motivations to change. On a new page write down as much as you know about your current state of health. Your height, weight, blood pressure, body mass index, resting blood sugar, PSA and cholesterol levels, chest, waist, hip measurements, and any other clinical statistics that you have on yourself. Also note what you’ve been eating, what, how much and how often.
We’re doing this because it gives us a point of reference. It will help you focus on what you want to change, and as time goes by it’ll be a yardstick by which you can measure your progress.
The journey to wellness is usually slow and incremental. This journal will reassure you that you’re making progress.
It’s also a good reinforcement of your motivations to change.
Next we’ll discuss goal setting.
Staying Raw Inspired,
Because It’s Changed my Life,
Jim Carey
P.S. Raw Living Foods is a Lifestyle, not just a diet.
There’s a lot more to being Raw than just eating fruits and veggies. We strongly believe in the hands-on approach, but the Home Study Program gives you the “complete picture,” and also supplies you with the materials to both stay inspired and to share your great experiences with others.
Furthermore, not everyone can get away for 2-3 weeks to attend a hands-on program, or afford the cost. That’s why we offer this alternative at chiDiet.com and RawLife.com.
