Hi Jim,
I just read your article where you wrote about your experience of the connection between eating and spirituality. Thank you for this. It is a great article.
I think the biggest thing missing in the world of nutrition and eating, regardless of what model one is promoting, is… CONTEXT.
People do not have a big enough context for why they eat. Many people who are asleep have no context at all! Context determines everything!! When my context for eating evolved into eating for enlightenment; eating to experience a deeper connection with Creator; eating to (according to David Wolfe) increase the occurrences of serendipitous events in my life; eating to accelerate the Law of Attraction and deliberate manifestation in my life… my whole life changed.
Knowing that we are vibrational beings, (and that vibration determines what we attract and how well we can connect with Source), I now only have one reference for making any and every choice in my world, especially when it comes to food choices. And that is…. will it raise or lower my vibration?
And even though I was, on human level, a little bummed about the list of foods Ann suggests to remove from our diet, if it means that I can better tune into the good stuff at the higher end of the “radio dial” of life… (what I call WGOD)… then so be it.
I am in this world but not of it. I AM ascending and love it!! My ascension and connection to my Mighty “I AM” is the most important thing in my life. And if eating a certain way can accelerate my ascension, then I AM all for it!!
This is the context that has been missing and not talked about enough by health leaders. Maybe it’s time to start talking about it and let the chips fall where they may. Maybe it’s time to come straight out and say it. Do you think it’s time yet? Is the world ready for this yet?
Let’s call it The Ascension Diet. The joke is that when one eats in this context, all of the desired physical and vane outcomes for eating all happen by default.
I have given this subject matter tremendous thought and contemplation. I can talk at great lengths about. I feel a blog and/or book brewing inside me.
You will never know how profound your response to my question about what water you drink has been to me. You said, “I filter it and pray over the rest.” It was the “Law” that broke the camel’s back for me! It took all the pressure off of “doing it right”. I realized that my intention and prayer was and is the ultimate determining factor of well-being in my life. I qualify and determine the value and benefit of the food, whatever it may be, brings to me!!
A person who I respect once said to me, “A person will probably get more value eating a McDonald’s Happy Meal in a state of joy and happiness than eating a raw, organic meal in a state of anger or depression.”
Too much emphasis has been put on what the right things too eat are instead of the mental state a person is when they eat it and their ability to qualify, charge, and energize their food, whatever they might be eating.
Continued success to you, Jim. And Thank You.
