If possible, I take my food with me when going out to eat with other folks. I have never had a problem in any restaurant doing this. Other people in the group order food, and when their food arrives, I simply take mine out of my lunch bag and join in the meal. Restaurant folks don't seem to mind -- I'm not taking up a table by myself, just a chair at the table. I usually leave a tip as well. If I know the restaurant has organic salad ingredients, I may only bring my dressing. But it is rare that I find organic anything when eating out.

How much food do I need to eat if I am a raw foodist to remain healthy and make sure I'm getting enough? I like to work out but I have been feeling tired lately. I thought I was getting enough food but maybe not. Is there a test I could take to find out if I'm getting enough? I have been a raw foodist for four years. What do you recommend?
Thank You

I went out to a nice restaurant for my Mom's birthday dinner, but I checked the menu ahead of time and saw they offered many salads. So I just let the waitress know I was vegan, and had them take their greek salad and remove the cheese and add avocado instead. They were very receptive and very nice about it. Any restaurant that offers salads should be able to customize one just for you!!! :-)
