   Good afternoon, I was reading something diffrent about this on another blog. Interesting. Your perspective onto it is diametrically contradicted to what I read earlier. I am still pondering over the opposite points of view, but I’m leaning to a great extent toward yours. And irrespective, that’s what is so fantastic about modern-day democracy and the marketplace of ideas online.

   The problem with a democracy is that it’s mob rule. In a democracy, two wolves and a lamb on voting on lunch. Guess what’s for lunch. What most people don’t realize is that the US was formed as a Republic, a nation of laws. In a Republic the lamb is protected from the democratic mob. America became a “democracy” because of a US Supreme Court ruling in 1909.
