I’ve had a lot of inquiries in the past month because I haven’t been blogging. It’s nice to feel missed. Here’s what I’ve been up to:
You often hear me say that reducing stress – both on the mind and the body – is an important part of healing and staying healthy. Indeed, I’ve often said that all stress is self-induced. Well, that’s what I’ve been doing – reducing my stress to stay healthy.
A month ago I found myself becoming overwhelmed by the world around me. It wasn’t my voluntary work-related responsibilities that were getting to me as much as it was the news of the world. The Gulf of Mexico being turned into a dead zone, the implementation of Codex Alimentarius by Executive Order in the US, a health care reform bill that will require the micro-chipping of all Americans, widespread political corruption and creeping fascism… sigh.
So to reduce my stress and keep my health I removed myself from the world for a bit. One of my last postings in June was, “Change Your Life, Change Your Health.” I took my own advice.
Oh, I still answered email and filled orders – those are fun things to do – but I turned off the news and went to work around the farm. I did a lot of landscaping (I keep about five acres around the cabin mowed and park-like), creating several huge brush piles with what I trimmed from the trees around the yard. I also gave the lawn some attention, filling last winter’s rabbit holes, and I put up more bird feeders and birdhouses. While I didn’t get a garden in this year, I’ve put a lot of work into my compost pile and the garden soil, getting ready for a late garden this Fall.
Indoors I put down new flooring in the living room and the kitchen, and gave the cabin a good cleaning from top to bottom. I built a new desk and rearranged my office. New paint in the living room and new curtains in every room made a big difference, too.
Now I’m back, and feeling much better. This has been a reminder to me that good health is a journey, not a destination, and that we have to take care of our own needs – physical, mental, emotional and spiritual – before we can help others.
In the future I’m going to leave the depressing aspects of health reporting to others. I don’t mean that in a bad way; it’s important to know what’s happening in the world, especially since the mass media ignores so much of what’s truly important. But I’ll leave it to others like Mike Adams and Dr. Mercola to let you know about studies that show office workers have more skin cancer than construction workers, and how pages 1001-1008 of the health care reform law require a class III electronic identification device for all Americans, and why that means you’ll have to be micro-chipped. (Oops, I sighed again.)
I want to thank everyone who emailed, wondering where the newsletters were, and if I was OK. I’m fine, I’m great, and I’m having a wonderful – if a bit hot – summer in Georgia.
Blissings upon you and yours,
Jim Carey

Jim,This is my first note to you. Thanks for all the fresh information. You sound like you had a great check-out of the world month,Good for you.I have some Mt. property in N. Ga. Mts. I miss doing what you were able to do on your property. I live in Tallahassee,Fl. now (HOT).The next time you check -out for some time, call me,I’ll come help you clear,Work the property, give back to it some of what it gives to you. I miss that kind of joy so much.
You have inspired me to eat fresh, raw, creative in my desires for what I put into my body. A few months ago I felt like I needed to get a grip on my diet,so I thought, Just start thinking and searching and the information, and (people) help will come. You did. Thanks.
I go out in my yard and walk through each morning picking what ever I find,Sweetpotato vine tips, cucumber vine tips, cucumbers, small tomatos, squash flowers, onion tops, basil, etc. I grind flax, pumkin seed. A little aloe at times, know telling what I might put,as long as it is living, sprouts(thanks to you). I have fun. The cucumber vine might not happen so often, kinda like a hay smoothie with the bail rop throne in,it was still good and appreicated.
I have also started stoping in to the better grocery stores to pick up things like broclie cranbery salad, carrote, and more low mayo type raw prepared things instead of just not eating away from home. I really like to prepair my owne foods.I’m not so sure how much people think out in the comerical world when it comes to food preperation. I often ask the person scooping the food if they have tried it,most always they say no.
Well, got to go. Take care. I just wanted to say thanks.
Remember,What is going on in the world can sound rough, but you have your world right with you and the ultimate in where situations can end up they are not there yet, just come back to right where you are now. John

Well, I applaud you for having the sense to take a step back and draw inward toward home. I do exactly the same; and I think we can all relate to the effects of current news.
Depending on one’s spiritual beliefs, one would say that this is definitely ‘a sign of the times’ and while that is very disturbing, and distressing, it shows exactly where we are in The Timeline. Imagine if we were there during the time that Christ was to be jailed and then crucified how we would be feeling; how THEY felt. And now, it is OUR turn in this point of HisStory to understand what must be done. There is the consolation of The Rapture..but how should I be spending my time right here and now?
In the meantime, another sign of the times is the increasing dangers out there. I work for a bank and went through a horrific bank robbery six months ago, only to face another one last week. Thank goodness, the one last week was foiled as I fear someone surely would have lost their life.
Prayer, prayer, prayer..is much needed..

Thank you for this blog Jim. I follow the Abraham-Hicks law of attraction philosophy … you give energy to what you focus on (think about)and it is drawn into your life. I’ve appreciated the health information you give out to the world. I’m so happy you are going to focus on the positive and leave the negative “facts” to others. This world is SO full of positive things and I can’t help but think that the more focus that goes that direction, the better it will be.
You’ve done a wonderful job of helping people realize the benefits of eating healthy. Thanks so much!

Dear Jim, glad to hear you are fine, I thought maybe you were in Hawaii, my granddaughter was there last month visiting her partner who is in the Australian Navy, she absolutely loved it. Sometimes I become overwhelmed with all the doom and gloom, but try and remind myself and those around that all we have is the “now” and to make the best of every moment we have. Thankyou for the great information on your site it is much appreciated. Best wishes from Joy.

Codex was passed by Obama on June 10th by Executive Order, thus avoiding the demonstrations that they had in Canada.
The Health Care Reform bill says on pgs. 1001-1008 that all citizens must have a Class III Electronic Identification Device by May 1, 2012. It takes a bit of digging through the law, but a Class III device is a microchip. I doubt very many in Congress knew what they were even voting on.
But don’t take my word for it; check out the Whitehouse website, look it up for yourself, then dig around the .gov websites until you find the truth.

First of all Welcome Back Jim …
i am in the middle of reading an interesting eBook called The Message of a Master by John McDonald … and recommend to help put everything in Perspective…
I want to say that this book, written in 1929, might be useful to many who are letting themselves be overwhelmed by the Environment.
